they’re tearing out the vines to plant Cabernet.

Because that's what Napa needs. More cab.

We hired a driver for two days last September in Napa. The company picked four wineries for each day, which is what we wanted. They worked with us to find out what we were looking for, and picked some places they thought we would like. We didn't want big, well-known wineries. The places we visited were small, family owned and operated. Places you've never heard of. We met with the families, listened to their stories and drank really good wine. We were the only people at our tastings. Much different experience from the huge operations, if that's something you might like.

My brother in law said Caldwell was the best one they did.

It's definitely the most fun if JFC is tasting with you. Nothing in the Valley comes close.

Went a few years back and had a driver—it was spectacular. Lunch with an engineer from England who had a winery on the side of a hill. Experiences you won’t get on your own because you just don’t know where to go.

Frogs leap was a favorite.

I’ll have to get my notes out on where all we went.

Agree on Pride being a great tour. It was probably our favorite.

Will Ferrell was actually doing a tasting when we went though. Really nice guy. I know, CSB.

For really good wine at a great price, there is a winery called Saintsbury in Napa

Great little breakfast place called Boon Fly Cafe
