My wife and I are looking to get away for around 5 days in the next few months. It'll be our first real vacation without kids in years. We're really just looking to relax on a beach at a nice place out of the country.

Anyone have some recommendations? I'd like to keep it around $5,000-$6,000.

TIA

Grace Bay in Providenciales in Turks and Caicos is pretty tough to beat. I think the east end of Grace Bay is the prettiest. You can stay at a place like Ocean Club Resorts for $200-300 a night and stay well within your budget.

Appreciate the response. We’ve actually been there and were debating going again

We went back in April and had a great time. We stayed further down the beach in the Bight area so we could snorkel off shore. It worked out great, but the beach and water in Grace Bay proper are hard to beat.

St Johns or Puerto Rico. Best deal you will ever get and the beaches are open. Things aren’t near as bad as what the media makes it out to be and after all the locals have been through they could use more tourists.

Hard to not go with the Turks.

One of my other favorite places is Our Lucaya in the Bahamas. Haven’t been there in a few years though.

St. Lucia. I swear the water is so clear and low in salt content that I was able to open my eyes underwater with no issues.
