I had a condo booked for 3 nights next Tuesday about 1.5 miles east of Seaside. Just got a message from the host there was damage to the building, beach access, and erosion at the beach, and they had to close the building. Seemed a little far fetched to me, as I didn't think that area was too badly affected, but I don't know
I'm frantically looking for another place to book...about willing to camp on the beach at this point. Wanted to make sure that area isn't too bad...

They definitely had some water/surge in that area so it’s not too far fetched.

Left this morning. Stayed off Eastern Lake Road...so within a mile of your condo. They’re full of shite.

Just booked a place between Alys Beach and PCB this week when Perdido canceled and the realty company told me everything was wide open

Little east of there. Emerald Isle. Looked like one of the lower density beaches, and the place we like in PCB was already booked
