Avery Island - must do things?

Planning a day trip to Avery Island. Welcome any suggestions on things that are highly recommended to do or avoid and any specific feedback anyone may have to share.....thanks! Planning tour of the Tabasco factory for starters so far!
ETA: family trip and yes includes kids ranging from 10-14.

There's also a gardens and bird sanctuary too. I've never been, but heard it's pretty. Went to Tabasco with my parents the last time they were visiting. Enjoyed it.

Jungle Gardens tour, Tabasco factory and store. Not sure there is anything else. You could also go over to Jefferson Island for lunch and a tour of the old house, pretty neat as well.

I took my wife, maw in law and my mom for mothers day. It's nice an relaxing. The gardens were the best. This is pretty much the tour. Hope ya'll enjoy.
