Wife and I are gonna use some FF miles to visit both places, with a Panama City (Panama) long layover thrown in there.

Probably gonna arrive in Curacao mid-day on a Friday and leave from Aruba nine days later.

I am thinking a Tuesday inter-island flight, thus giving three full days in Curacao, then four full days in Aruba. Am I doing that right? Or should I do two days in one and five in the other? If so. which?

Thanks!

I like Curacao better than Aruba. They are both wonderful, but I think Curacao is more charming and has better shopping. Its not quite as overrun with large resorts.

All of Aruba's beaches are public, but you can't use any chairs unless you're staying at one of the resorts. Curacao's beaches are smaller and rockier.

Honestly, split your time evenly between them.

If you enjoy recreational drugs, cocaine directly from Colombia is readily available for dirt cheap. Just ask for *** who hangs out on the beach by the Marriott/Ritz.

(deleted name in case the law is watching. 3 letter word that rhymes with tax.)

this was some great advice, as was other info from y'all.

Heading to CUR to take the quick flight to AUA, in about 2 hours.

We ended up at the "nearly abandoned" beach east of Soto. I want to HIGHLY recommend Blenchi B&B if you want some peace and quiet, a pretty enough beach, and a great value!

The older Dutch guy who runs it is quite a character. Nice guy, fun to chat with, especially when he's buzzed and wants to argue politics over Amstel Bright!
