I would not.
Set up a Chase account or other bank specifically for the trip. Close account after trip.

I’ve used my campus federal debit card at ATMs internationally without issue.
I did let them know when and where I was traveling, though.

I spent a month in INdia and had no problems with ATM. My only foreign ATM problems were when I didn't tell my bank I was going to Peru on my trip, I only mentioned Colombia. So when I went to Peru, they stopped my 2nd withdrawl.
