Any Safe BTR Hotels Near Interstate?

An out-of-town friend has asked for recommendations for a nice and safe hotel off I-10 for a 2 night visit. I'm hesitant to suggest any. Opinions appreciated.

Crowned Plaze by Tio Javi and across the street Marriot by Gordon McKernan are right off the interstate and nice

There are plenty. Crowne Plaza, Marriott and Embassy Suites off of College. Drury and Spring Hill off Essen. Hyatt and Renaissance off Bluebonnet. Downtown has Hilton, Courtyard and The Watermark. All perfectly fine.
Just avoid I-12 & Airline and I-10 & Siegen or any discount chain like oYo, Motel 6 or Trident.

What part of I-10? I-10 is pretty long. Other than the stuff around College Drive there the Renaissance off I-10 on Bluebonnet
