Antigua in May - any advice or reccomendations

Been several years, but that's where we stayed when we went.

Book any excursions through the hotel/resort. When we went there was an excursion desk in the middle of the resort. Made the mistake of booking horse back riding with someone outside of the hotel and EVERY aspect of it was sketchy

Sunset cruise was awesome
Local market was underwhelming, but I wouldn't dismiss it if you're into those things

There is a place on the beach to the left that has a lot of free activities: snorkeling, paddle board, 2 person catamaran...

The professional photo shot was a waste of money

T-shirts ran small

You will be pestered on the beach by the locals if you try to lay out
