Alaska/PNW with a toddler

Taking a trip to the PNW and trying to find some suggestions for toddler friendly activities.
We will be in Seattle, Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Skagway I believe (Alaska will be cruise stops, so just day trips). Will also go to Vancouver
Seattle seems like there is plenty to do.
Alaska is much more of a challenge, most of the stuff we would like to do probably would be no good for the little one.
Any suggestions on something we could all enjoy?

What kind of things are you interested in doing?

Well that’s just it, I’d like to go hiking and fishing but with toddler and pregnant wife options are more limited.
I guess the easy answer is stuff that may take 2-4 hours from the middle of town. Don’t want to be too far from the boat if he has a melt down.
He loves animals so was considering dog sledding or something but that sounds like a hell of a trip from Juneau.
Or, if there are things to do in town that would be fun we would be interested.
I have been to Alaska before and know there is more to do outside the towns themselves and that they are really built for cruise ships nowadays.

In juneau, you can do a short hike to Nugget Falls at the Glacier, it's toddler friendly and can Evan accommodate strollers. Maybe the tram if weather is nice, some raptors up top and short trails in the sub alpine. There are two landbased dogsled tours here as well. Maybe Glacier Gardens too.
In Skagway I'd recommend Alaska 360.

Going to likely be a bunch of tiger fans drinking downtown Juneau in the evening tomorrow if you are interested
Edit: or whatever they call the area where the ships dock

Absolutely. Any place in particular or needing suggestions?

If you have a suggestion we would love it
Edit: I remember a few places by the dock. We are there until around 10:00pm

Pier 49 is the newest spot. Live music on Fridays
Hanger on the Wharf us the old tried and true
Ak Fish And Chip Co is another
Twisted Fish is good
Tracy's Crab Shack as well but it's pretty expensive
All of these are on the waterfront near the docks
Tons of carts and food trucks too. Several other smaller restaurants right near the docks.

Thanks for the links.
hanger looks like a good place for a big group so we will likely try there. Some might just grab beers is that a good place for that?
Check this thread tomorrow and will let you know where we are at would love to meet up
Edit: we have a big group that will be doing our own things until probably 6:00-7:00pm and will be meeting back up around that area at that time.

Yeah, they have a huge beer selection and are right on the water above the float plane dock
Lots of cool pictures there from when it was the downtown hanger for Alaska Coastal Airlines Grumman Goose aircraft. Coastal was the forerunner to Alaska Airlines.

At the hanger at a big booth by the bar if you have time
Plaid shirt under the blue and white float plane
Edit sorry we missed you bud, had a great time from your recs. Nugget falls easy with the little one was easy other than he wanting to jump into the waterfall and thought it was his (“mine!”)
Thanks again

Yep, sorry I missed this. We had a work contingency yesterday and I'm in Auke Bay all weekend.

In Juneau, go to Mendenhall Glacier, the world's most impressive glacier that you can drive to. Then take a whale watching excursion. We took the one that circles Shelter Island. The scenery is beautiful and we saw plenty of whales......In Skagway, take the long, all day White Pass Railroad train ride in to the Yukon Territory. Lots of spectacular scenery.

They've been lunge feeding here in Auke Bay for the past 6 weeks or so. We had orcas breaching a couple weeks ago, just a few hundred yards off the docks.
