re: A few New Orleans questions

I was in NOLA last week for vacation and my group of 4 had lunch reservations for Commander’s Palace. I’ve eaten there twice in the past, the other 3 more than that. Last time was with the same group in 2018. There was a guy there wearing shorts and a t shirt. I figured he was rich or famous or related, who knows, I couldn’t have cared less. But my buddy was completely fascinated by this to the point where he was still talking about it to this day. So for some dumb reason, maybe to prove a point that the sign on the door is bullshite I suppose, this time my buddy wears shorts and an old Hawaiian shirt. We Uber there from our hotel, check in with the hostess who looks at him and tells us to get lost. I laughed for the rest of the day.
