1/2 day layover in Paris - Neighborhood Rec

Coming back from a trip to southern Germany and the way our flights worked out, we will have a layover from 9AM-5PM in Paris. Not very long, but long enough to take the metro and go explore a bit.
We have been to Paris before, stayed in the Latin Quarter and saw all of the main tourist sites (Eiffel tower, Louvre, Catacombs, Arc de triomphe, Palace of Versailles).
Anyone have a recommendation for a less touristic part of the city to get off in and just wander around for a few hours? Nice lunch recommendation? - This will be a Sunday afternoon in December - TIA
