Hi everyone,
Work is offering these up as a way to do our 2 factor login ID (vs having to log in via my personal gmail acct.) I don't know any about the tech, but it seems pretty convenient. Should I take them up on it or jut keep what I have?
Thx.

I've got one I use with LastPass. It works and is convenient if you have your keys around you, if you have it on your keyring. I use Google Authenticator more since I've usually got my phone with me

I’m really interested in these. The problem I have is how do users use these with phones if they don’t have a 2FA app installed?

Yubikey has a NFC option. You just hold the key up to the back of the phone. Works fine on my Iphone, but not Ipad. I've started using secure key 2FA on my more important accounts. Keep a backup spare somewhere safe.

I get that if they are logging in on their iPhone but if they are logging into their laptop then I would imagine you would have to have an app of some sort.
I'm considering rolling out DUO or Azure MFA and just letting people accept calls or text messages if theyre old school and complain about having to use the app. The DUO app is really good but I have users that would probably adopt things better if I just gave them a TOTP key fob.
