I like how they have locals. No nbc though

$35 doesn’t seem like a bad price but they’re missing some decent channels

I didn't know it wasn't available here from the start.

My vue is finally going up to $45 this month and is continuously either losing channels or moving channels to higher tiers while making no upgrades anywhere else. I may switch if YouTube can add some more channels.

I'm going to give it a shot. It is missing some key channels. They need to get some more device support with this

NBC is listed in the channel lineup. Why can't you access NBC?

Some locals may not be available in some areas. That's how it is with DirecTV Now

If I did not already have the grandfathered directv now deal for $35 I would have a look.

They sent me an email to sign up for the beta last week. Think it supposed to roll out early next year

They have NBC but only on-demand shows right now. I'm hoping they will add it though. They have live Fox and CBS

Gotcha. It's not accessible with my roku so it's definitely a no for me for now.

Yeah that's understandable. I have it on my Android TV and then I can stream it from my phone to my Chromecast. I'm gonna try it out and see if it would really save me money if I drop Cox Cable and just keep the internet. I'm paying around $130 now.

Now that football season is over, you should consider DirecTV Now. I'm with AT&T's phone service and I get DTV Now for $10 a month (the base package, no sports package).

I've been beta testing the DVR since September. It's functional. There are still some things that need to be tweaked, however. Regarding locals, DirecTV Now in NOLA carries the NBC and Fox affiliates. No CBS or ABC affiliates yet, but we do have access to the CBS on-demand library. However, they are slow to update new shows on there.

Am I the only one that likes Hulu Live TV? I get the live locals plus live TV and 50hrs of DVR for 43$. It's got native Apps on every platform.

I'm not understanding YouTube TV. So I have to cast it from my phone to my TV?

Yeah and you can watch it on your phone and laptop, cast it to your TV using Chromecast or if you have an Android TV there is an app. They are also bringing it to Apple TV and Roku.

I like it. Only downside is the quick bit of buffering between shows. Also its got 3 of the 4 major local channels which is really nice.

I'm doing the trial of YouTube TV in the New Orleans area and I kinda like the menu and GUI. I think I'd really be inclined to do YouTube TV if they packaged Google Music with it. I think they give YouTube RED but that doesn't really mean anything to me.

Seems like Hulu Live TV is a few dollars more but has more local channels (in New Orleans) but doesn't have AMC. However, Youtube live tv has unlimited DVR.
I'm torn.
