Make sure you are logged in to Roku with your email. Might have to reboot that one stick. I bought a new Roku this weekend, used my email with Roku and all my apps including YouTube tv were pre loaded on the Roku.

If you plan to stay with YouTube TV to me the best bet is to add a Chromecast with Google TV which includes a remote for $50: https://store.google.com/product/chromecast_google_tv?hl=en-US

Roku deleted the YouTube TV app several months ago. People who already had it were grandfathered in. But since you deleted the app you messed that up. Now you will have to open the YouTube app and get to YouTube tv that way. Btw mine is working fine.

I doubt that Google will ever lock you out of being able to stream their content on one of their devices. The same holds for Amazon and Apple.

Google has already shown they're willing to play hard ball with Amazon and now Roku. It's all about money.

Roku did this with the app that is now directv stream (then at&t now). If you have a roku account and had already downloaded the app, you can reinstalll it. When the at&t now app wasn’t available for my new roku, I had to login the roku site and add it there. Basically roku wasn’t allowing anyone to see the app unless they had downloaded it before.
