Anyone try these?
They seem to be on the cheaper side but with decent reviews. Someone I know showed me the app with their cameras and it looked to work very well. I'm trying to get some other opinions.
Pros:
1080p
live viewing
two-way communication
local storage option (up to 64 GB per)
50 ft night viewing
Up to 5 cameras per account
Free 6 second capture motion trigger rolling cloud storage
Wireless network
Cons:
Monthly service fee for longer could storage
Wired for power with a usb cable (this wouldn't be a problem for me)
TIA.

I have one without the cloud subscription. I like it. If they break in and snatched the camera you're left with probably just a quick alert video but I'll risk it.
Mine is I think 720p and was $40.

Amazon has the 1080p indoor for $39 and the outdoor for $75.

Those are fine if you don't mind looking at grainy videos LMBO.
Get some real gear. Email me for recs.

I just went back and look. The one I bought is $29 now. The video is pretty clear.
I have it inside pointing outside. The only problem I have is the night vision light or whatever just reflects off the window so I have to turn that off. But it's still pretty good at night with street lights.

I had the same problem with the light. You can turn the light out in the settings.

Does anyone have any recs for outdoor cameras that work with FireTV? Trying to find the easiest solution for monitoring the kids when they are outside playing. I have the yi for inside, but I do not think they are firetv compatible.

The app just updated and now you can do picture and picture (on my pixel 2 at least) with your camera feed while you use your phone in other apps.
