We have ATT 1G Internet service via ATT’s. GW210 modem, have consistently 450-600 download and 200-400 upload, and can download game software at very quick rates, but will occasionally have to deal with subtle lags while gaming. The lagging is not on a consistent basis and has manifested it self about 2 weeks ago. Lagging may happen in one game and not for the next 3-4 games or so.

Other than suggested online in-game parameter adjustment suggestions is there any modem/router parameters that should be adjusted to contribute to a better game experience. I’m assuming the ping rate remains constant but will be monitoring that more closely.

Go to the interface/HUD options and turn on ping and packet loss. Come back and report the numbers. Also look out for other network symbols it may be showing like packet burst

Also try playing another online game to see if that lags as well. COD has the shittiest servers on the planet so it may not be a you problem

CoD downloads graphics as you play..You probably should look into "turn off live texture" or something to that affect in the settings..Not in front of mine right now to walk you through it..

you also need to make sure no other games are downloading or updating as you do it..I personally, would be reporting or blocking people playing like it sounds like you are, so I would not be in lag lobbies anymore
