Wired USB-C earbud suggestions

So I finally have a phone without a 3.5mm headphone jack but I love my Sennheiser earbuds. So here are my questions:
1) How is audio quality if I get a cheap USB-C:3.5mm adapter and keep using my current earbuds? They are like $10 on amazon
2) Can anyone recommend some USB-C earbuds that would be <$50 or so? I much prefer earbuds with the rubber fittings that go inside the ear.
Thanks.
EDIT: I guess my phone cannot do analog over USB-C so please just focus on question #2. Any USB-C earbud suggestions?

Why not Bluetooth headphones?

Assuming that your phone most likely does not support analog out on your USB-C port.
The quality is probably fairly poor on the cheap adapters. Since active adapters quality will be based on the quality of the Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) found on it.

How would you check to see if the phone can do this or not?
EDIT: Confirmed it doesn't do analog over USB-C.
