I don't know about that. The touch targets on the 42 are small enough that I wouldn't risk the smaller version. I actually thought the 42 would look bigger on my wrist, tbh. It's not big and awkward at all to me.

This is a screen cap of the face I am going with so far. I do have my initials in small letters right above the center but I removed that for the screen cap. I also change the color to red at night because it looks sharp.
The face features I went with are date, temp, battery life and a stopwatch.

That's Utility. It's the same one I settled on. I have calendar , temp & another time zone on mine.

how do you dismiss notifications on apple watch?
android you swipe them right to dismiss or swipe up to go from one to the next.
they just added the ability to flick your wrist to flip through the notifications but i looked like a COMPLETE tool doing it
also, checking your watch as a notification comes in while talking to someone ive found makes them think you're bored and checking the time to see how much of yours they've wasted

Let me ask the stupid question: Is using the phone straight up the same as Dick Tracy? Speaker on it?

Well if you wait a minute or so it just goes away. Or you can hit dismiss or swipe down on it.

I suppose glancing at the watch is less "rude" than glancing at your phone, but it's still noticeable and can be awkward.

no speaker, but has a mic

If you are talking about the Apple Watch, it does have a speaker. I've had several phone conversations on it with my phone in another part of the house.

Thats what I was talking about. I was wondering how you would have a conversation without being able to hear.

I'm talking about the newer version that was recently selling for $300

The one I am using above is Color. Utility has a similiar look but has whatever numbers you want on it but can't adjust the color outside of the second hand. You can't add hour numbers to Color but you can (obviously) make the entire UI whatever color you want. Red at night looks pretty bad arse.

I was able to get in on that AT&T deal for the LG G Watch R for $99. Just got it yesterday. I'm liking it so far.
I like that I can control my Wink devices. I also like that I can download songs to the onboard 4GB storage, so I can simply use the watch with bluetooth headphones in the gym for music. That way I can just leave my phone in the locker room and don't have to lug it around with me.

My boss is sending his back. Says after using it, he thinks it's way overpriced for what it is.

Engadget didn't think too highly of the Urbane

Battery report:
I put the watch on at 6:15 am. I have brightness at 2/3, haptic and sound at full strength.
I tried to use it as often as I could for calls, email, and texts.
at 1:15 pm it was 77%
3:30 pm - 67%
6:30 pm - 50%
at 10 pm I took the watch off at 30% battery and put it on the charge.
I tried the navigation for the first time yesterday. I called out the address to the watch and it picked it up perfect. While driving the watch will do a tap/sound sequence (similar to a blinker in a car) when it is time to turn. I found this worked great and didn't create a distraction of looking at my phone or GPS. It was a glance at my wrist on the steering wheel. Also didn't have any annoying voice prompts (I usually disable these anyway).
I also tried out playing music from the watch. I simply spoke the name of the artist or song to siri and it played on my phone or bluetooth paired device.
The voice recognition accuracy is the most impressive thing to me thus far.
