Which would you go with?
The Samsung 49-Inch CRG90 with a VA panel but a 120 Hz refresh rate be better than the LG LG 49WL95C-W with an IPS panel and 60 Hz refresh rate.
Both are 49" curved with a resolution of 5120x1440 and both are the same price.
The color and viewing angles will be better on the IPS and it will primarily be used for business so RR and motion blur won't matter much. I am worried about stuck pixels on the higher RR as I have seen this happen.
This site gives the edge to the Samsung.
I have an LG 34" curved now and it has been great so I am partial to LG. I saw the Samsung today at Microcenter and really liked it. The salesman tried to sell me on a Dell 49" but overall I didn't care for it. I just want another opinion of these two that I have narrowed it down to.

What GPU do you have and does either have GSync or FreeSync?
When it comes to the big name brands a like Samsung a lot.
Currently running an AOC Agon 35in Ultra wide.

I've had fantastic luck with Dell - especially for productivity and general use.
I do have a Samsung as my main display.

Intel NUC with AMD will be my primary but my other two PCs I may use with it occasionally are Nvidia based.

I don’t know anything about monitors, but with TVs color/contrast on IPS panels are significantly worse than VA panels.

If you're going to be sitting right in the middle of the monitor, VA is the way to go due to the deeper blacks.
IPS still reigns supreme with viewing angles, which is why most content creators still use them over VA
