What is the best way to download/save movies on Pixel?

Will be flying a lot in the near future and would like to save movies/tv shows onto my phone in advance. What is the best way to achieve this?

Torrent (if that's your thing). Then connect your phone via USB-C to computer and transfer to phone?

If you have Prime, you can download and play movies on the Amazon Video app. You might have to sideload it though...not showing up on Play Store for me.

What format would the movie have to be in what player will play the movie on the phone?

Get VLC Player, it'll handle anything you throw at it.

You can also rent movies and download them from Google Play Movies. You will have to pay for them though.

Not downloading/installing from the app store. Find the apk on the internet, download it to your phone and open it to install.
