My new house has these wires protruding from the middle of the wall in the living room. They are ran to a closet that will hold A/V equipment

My question is, what exactly are these wires all about and what are the capabilities? What should I be looking to do with them?

white are cat6 cables for internet or what ever else you need them to be and i would assume so are the green but i cant tell.

how much is sticking out, is there extra spools of wire in the attic, this was pre ran where you could run wires to a tv, tv box, etc.

That's all category 6 data wiring. Congratulations. You should be hard wired in every room.

Connect these to an ethernet switch in an AV closet.

Connect switch to router.

Experience high speed surfing.

There’s about two feet of wiring protruding from the middle of the wall in the living room. It’s ran out to the patio as well. The seller mentioned being hardwired for audio in the attic as well

Here is the closet

I’m trying to make heads or tails of all this

What does it say on the cables? Some is obviously CAT6. Is there 16/2 or 16/4? That would be speaker wire.

I'm not really sure. I'm more of a three wire guy.
