In Covington. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thought it was my old phone which was an iPhone 8, but just upgraded to the 13 and it's still happening.

What do you mean? I’ve noticed a delay in audio when talking to others, is that what you’re experiencing?

Go into the cellular settings under Data options and change the voice and data options to LTE. I had a similar issue. I talked to a personal friend who is a Verizon network engineer. He recommended doing this because there is so little 5G available right now it can cause issues if you have a 5G signal that is faint. It fixed my voice problems.

New phones default to 5G on.

No, like the call is going along fine and then I just don't hear them and they don't hear me. The call is still ongoing, but nothing travelling across.

Have to hang up and call again.

Mine shows 5G auto.

But this same issue was a problem with my iPhone 8 up till last week, so I wouldn't think it's a 5g issue.
