I have AT&T Fiber 1 Gbps and for some odd reason my Windows 10 PC, which is less than 2 or 3 years old, gets about 50 to 100 Mbps upload speed with google drive. When I upload the same exact file from my iPad to google drive I get around 200 to 300 Mbps. No I can not see the speed on my iPad but it says uploading complete in 2 to 3 minutes compared to 10 to 12 minutes on my Windows 10 PC.

My question is why is this ? The other weird part is my Windows 10 PC is connected to a Ethernet cable.

Of course the iPad is connected wireless.

This is the weirdest issue I ever had and still not sure what is up with it.

Have you run an internet speedtest, or are you judging strictly by google drive upload speed?

Does the Windows machine download faster than 100mbps? If not, then I suspect the ethernet has negotiated at 100mbit rather than gigabit for some reason. Either the computer or the switch/router it's connected to is limited to 100mbit, or your CAT cable may have a bad wire making gigabit impossible so it falls back to 100mbit. Most switches/routers have port lights that light green for gigabit or yellow/orange for 100mbit, so I would check what color it is (I believe Windows will also tell you this if you can find that info).

If it does download faster than 100mbit, then there's no telling what the problem is considering it's Windows. Maybe it's a driver, maybe it's the browser, maybe it's just a weird Windows thing, or maybe even google is limiting your speed for one reason or another. Running a speedtest would help rule in/out that last one.
