So getting close to where electricity is getting turned on at my new house(been a long road with lots of BS in it). I have a total of 24 circuits I will need to power with 6 of them being wifi that will need to be POE. So here is what I am thinking, please let me know if there are any changes that need to be made as I plan to order this sometime this week. Everything is wired to one central location with Cat6, no power source at the locations so 100% has to be POE.
att fiber coming in
to
unifi dream machine
to
Unifi Switch 24 PoE
to
6 nanoHD Access Points
Let me know if there is anythign I need to change.

6 AP’s? Dang how big is your house?

Ubiquiti recommends 1 AP per 1500 sqft. The six you listed plus the Dream Machine is seven APs. That seems excessive.

I would upgrade to the DM Pro, just for the ability to hold a hard drive for the NVR AND it has 8 GB ports built in .
And what everybody else said, that's overkill. Each NanoHD can handle around 200 clients, if memory serves me. If it makes you feel better, then go for it.

my house is about 4300sqft, 2 stories. The only devices that have a problem with connectivity is a single wifi-light made by Lohas that sits under a porch and basically embedded in metal fascia, so I don’t think it really counts. I can walk around my 1/4 acre lot except for one far corner and not drop a zoom call (and if I walk through that corner rather than sit/stop there, it picks back up)
I have 2x AC-Pro APs, and I probably could get by with one of them (I actually had one per story but later moved the 2nd story one to a spot on a shelf on the first floor pointed “up” at the light that has trouble connecting. My 2nd story has no problem still.
I get with Unifi why you could skip the UDMP if you ARE employing one of their switches and have zero desire for their phone system or cameras, but to get the UDM as an AP when planning this many APs is just going to be overkill and probably more harmful than helpful unless you are in a house with inner walls made of brick/steel or pulled an LSU and built a “house” that looks like a football stadium.

I have 4 for the main house, which is correct for size house. Then have 1 for the garage gym that covers north side of lot which is mainly garage, garage gym and court yard area. Then have 1 for the back porch that covers back yard.
as far as how big, it big and has a full mother in law quarters and 2 stories. Its sized right for size house. And I want to not have to worry about losing signal throuhgout the yard, driveway or honestly in the road in front of house.
i may have one too many with the dream machine, but not too worried about it.

has a seperate security system so not worried about having the hard drive.
so with the nanohd's not worried about number of clients at all. but house is ~5k living for main area, another ~1k in mil suite and then 3.5 garage plus 1.5 garage gym. so i need to be able to cover everything.
currently setup for 1 plus the DM upstairs
3 down stairs
1 on back porch that will cover porch, back yard and MIL suite
1 in garage gym to cover garages and gym
all the other ports will be for TVs, computers, gaming devices.
