To a Gigabyte z890 Pro Ice
and an Intel - Core Ultra 9 285K 24-Core
Been doing a ton more with local LLMs and wanted greater flexibility and faster RAM clock speed.
Now, I haven't done this in a loooooooong time, and I fear my question will illustrate as much. Do you still have to run burn-in software, or is that a bygone era?
All Plug and Play now?

It wasn't ever actually needed. I do stress testing on my system after a build or major changes, but that's because I'm testing undervolting or overclocking stability as well as the fan curve. If you're just running stock, I wouldn't stress over it unless you start seeing actual instability or crashes.
