Hey all. First time posting here so forgive me if this is a topic discussed ad nauseam.

I’m a tech novice looking for the best/biggest TV in the $3000 range. Top 2 contenders from what I see so far are the 86 inch LG QNED Mini-LED and the Samsung 85 inch Neo QLED. It would be for a dark media room.

Any opinions about either of those or potentially any others?

I bought a 77-inch Sony A80J OLED TV in June for $3499 and now it’s on fire at $2999. Best deal of the year at my price.

At the current price you’d be nuts not to give it a look. Stunning color and Sony’s new XR Processor is a game changer in OLEDs. And it is hands down best at upscaling to 4K.

Sony and LG OLED panels are same but Sony processor is better.

If you don’t want OLED. Then check out Sony 85X95J with the XR Processor. It’s going for $3500 and may dip a bit next week.
