TCL 8 Series Price Cut

TCL 75" 8 Series 4K
Was $2,999.99
Now $1,799.99
I came across this random piece of info on some gaming video mentioning a sudden price cut on this TCL set. The 65" is $999 now, but I'm assuming this means their 8K sets are on the way.

That seems high when you can get a Sony 900 series for that price.

I do agree though that this is still a little high when for maybe $400 more, the Sony 900H 75" is far superior.

Rtings gives it the same score (8.0) as the Sony 900H fwiw. I haven’t seen the sony, but my in-laws just got the TCL and it is a good looking TV.

Same price as the 75 inch Samsung Q60R. Is this one better? Just not familiar with TCL like I am with Samsung and Sony.
