Hopefully AT&T will come around and allow tethering off of their unlimited plans as well

All the new AT&T plans are unlimited and offer tethering. They just slow down when they get past the tier you pay for.

If you have the ONE plan gogo is completely free, always. It's one of the reasons I switched from a simple choice plan.

Also had terrible coverage on interstate driving to and from Louisiana.

When we switched we checked all the carriers. An important aspect was coverage from here to the old family homestead near Monroe. T-Mobile has (at least as of 1.5 years ago) ZERO coverage from St. Francisville until you get to Monroe. VZ is almost errywhere.

is this unlimited you speak of actually unlimited? I have 10 GB on my mobile and I've never used even half of that, so I don't really need it. But if it's truly unlimited for a reasonable price I could use a hotspot and drop my shitty Uverse at home.

no they don't. That is the mobile share plans that offer tethering. The unlimited plans offer no tethering.

Wrong, I am on one right now. I used my hotspot yesterday. All 4 of my family's phones can tether. One iPhone and 3 Androids.

After 22GB of usage, reduced speeds may apply. Tethering and Mobile Hotspot use prohibited (except for Connected Car). 1Roaming feature may be removed if voice, text, or data usage in Mexico and/or Canada exceeds 50% of total voice, text, or data usage for two consecutive billing periods. Fees, charges, and additional restrictions apply. Terms subject to change. See att.com/roamna for feature details.
from the AT&T website ETA. The reason you can tether is you and your family are on a mobile share plan.

all these technologies at their hands and Verizon will cannot allow you to talk and text at the same time. Does T Mobile allow it?
