I installed the Roku Ultra and Paramount+ loaded up much faster. I can now watch the free subscription of Apple TV+ that my Sony tv would not work.

No one has mentioned that you can install apps like Kodi on a Firestick, but you can't on a Roku.

Same as everyone else. I've used them all. I didn't know which one was the best.
So, I bought one of each.

If you have one, is it worth swapping over to a different one.... No. They all work just fine.
But Baers has summed it up nicely (although I would add that the direct to streaming service button on the roku is nice for the bedroom tv):

If you have the extra funds to splurge, I would get the Apple TV, especially if it's for your main TV. Amazon has them for $129 (down from $180).

Reasons I dislike FireTV are advertisements all over the place, constantly changing UI, performance drops with each device update.
Reason I dislike Roku is a stale app store.
Reasons I like Apple TV: integrates seamlessly with my iPhone, minimalistic/simplistic/aesthetic UI, best performance of the bunch.

I recently replaced my chromecast with Google TV with an nvidia shield pro but it wouldn’t sync my hue Gradient strip when streaming Dolby vision content and the chromecast does fine so the shield is getting returned
