Stop pop up tabs in Edge!

Hello all. I have Googled, researched, and tried every possible setting in the Edge browser but cannot extra advertising tabs from popping up. Any idea of good safe third-party software that will stop this?

uBlock Origin extension? It's an ad blocker. I don't see pop-ups though, so I just assume it's blocking them too.
