On the Rogan podcast he did right before the election he said there were no plans for a phone. I think it is too small of a project for him to give a shite about.

If you want something that isn't sending every thought and movement back to Google then there is the Pixel + GrapheneOS option or the UnPlugged phone option. Neither are perfect but are there if you are willing to deal with the limitations of GrapheneOS or want to drop $1000 on the UP and trust Erik Prince.
