Spam and robocalls getting out of hand at work

Is there a way to deal with this? The landlines at my office have been getting inundated with robocalls with recorded messages or someone from an Indian call center on the other line. Getting 30-40 a day at times. Is there any way to get it to stop or block these numbers? Cox is our phone provider if that matters. Its gotten ridiculous how many robocalls a day we get now.

Sally from student loans debt services finally stopped calling me.
Now I get several a day that either immediately hang up, offer me a “free” cruise, or want me to switch to their Canadian/Indian pharmacy.
Unfortunately I have to answer most of the unknown numbers because of my work.

Same here. I re-registered the DO NOT CALL List here, but it doesn't seem to be working
All "unknown" numbers too

AT&T makes a landline phone with smart call block. I have it at my house. You can whitelist numbers, but anyone not whitelisted has to push pound and state their name to get through. You can then answer and choose to whitelist them from then on, answer without whitelisting or not answer and block them forever.
I get zero robo calls now.
ETA: it doesn’t matter if AT&T is your phone provider or not. Just buy the phones online or at Best Buy and plug them in.

I have on Star in my truck and get them on there 2-3 times every time I’m driving somewhere. It’s certainly out of hand

I will vote for any Presidential Candidate, liberal or conservative, if their top priority were to rid the nation of robocalls.

You’d think

They do have the AT&T CallProtect app. It isn’t perfect but it helps, because even some that get through are labeled as “potential spam” or “telemarketer.” That said, I have no idea why they don’t adjust the app to do this same thing - anyone in your contacts gets through and anyone else has to push pound.
