You can only spend $300. It has to have wifi. No discreet amp. And the label has to say "Sonos"
Go.
Go.

Don't forget about requiring Scott Stapp's approval.

Well this thread didn’t go how I thought it would.

Sonos is the shite suck it haterz. Sorry I don’t like remotes, multiple avrs and wired speakers. Oh and Bluetooth. Laugh out fricking loud at Bluetooth.

I mean, you did use "haterzzz" in the first post. When you have "haterzzz" and Scott Stapp in a Sonos thread, what more can you ask for.

It’s all in good fun. Sonos threads on the tech board are a guilty pleasure.

You should let this other dude know. He takes Sonos very seriously.

Truth be told, if I wanted to run multi zone/multi room and not have to learn anything about doing it and didn't have access to run wires, I'd consider the connect amp. I think they're more or less as good as most people need and simple.
I think they have some pretty real value in being an outdoor kitchen/poolside system amp if the setup didn't allow for the main zone to easily have access to the outside zone. Also as a Zone 2 amp when you don't have good attic/wall access.
I just think that the cost of a discreet amp and wireless music transfer can be obtained a) cheaper and b) better
