This is only if you have get the more recent WHITE lables.
he has 2 solutions, neither that i used. I just found the 3.3 volt (orange wire) and pulled it out the back of the sata connector then taped it off. My wires werent colored and i uses a pic like this to find which wire was the 3.3 volt.

i'm going to try moving my 8TB external drive internal tonight. i think i have 5-6 open sata bays on it

did it require anything special to pull that cable out; for instance disassembling that plug harness?

can i whip up a RAID by connecting multiple 8TB inside my aurora?
the last time i had a raid it was a hardware device...which failed when my babysitter's toddler picked it up and dropped it on the concrete killing all the drives simultaneously
yeah i was mad.

well your mobo has to be able to set up a RAID. I want to set mine up as a RAID 10. but to do that you need 4 drives. so 4 8TB will get you 16 TB of data that is spread across 2 drives and mirrored across 2. BUT you it knocks you down to 16 from 32TB.
here is the pic you see the 2 3.3 volt wires i pulled out from the bottom drives.

understood. how much is that extra 16TB worth to you when the drive fails with half your movies on it?

Yeah but then you have to deal with seeding everything again for a week. 2 weeks on IPT unless you donate. After my little external died I'm definitely going to back up in the future.

I have most of my torrent files still in my folder. I would assume is you redownload the same one you wouldn't have to resend it for that time period.....but that's just an assumption.
And I do have 2TBs above my ratio I could zap most of it, but it would kill my ratio. Plus all the bonus points I have....like 20k

You would have to reseed it again.

I know no one gives a shite about this but me, but hell it amuses me.
Got into RED, now have to figure out how to upload shite loads of stuff.
About to drop $5 on IPT and rip every 4k remux they have and then promptly delete them as soon as I have them on my 8TB.

I've seen a couple people asking for invites. I have a couple if people can follow the rules. Like seed to a 1:1 ratio or for 2 weeks. I need your email too CAD as I got something else to send you as a thanks.
And seriously, follow the rules or you will get banned. I got banned from Redtopia a few days ago because of a mistake I made in cleaning up my Plex library. All it takes is accidentally deleting something and then not fixing it in time and bam, you're done. I've appealed but no word back. Probably won't hear back. And that's a good tracker just starting out, damn it. :bangs head:
