My 1TB external crashed while transferring files. Now I got no choice but to get a new one. And I've got to try to get a new PCB to try and save some old file. :cries:

Yup, it was a Seagate. Definitely buying the WD 8tb. May have to get it before it goes on well.

Signed up for AlphaRatio which is a 0day tracker. Has lots of great stuff on there and gets new releases super quick. Better selection on newer things than IPT, however IPT has a much longer catalog of items. I'll be using it as my primary until something better comes along. It has a good reputation on Reddit though. Y'all should sign up.

I just pulled the 3.3 volt wire out of the sata plug, so i could put it back in if i need to.
