So got a projector and a screen for Christmas to set up a home theater

110" screen. It seems that to get the right picture it has to be inconveniently close to the screen, right in the middle of the room. On both the x and y axis if that makes sense. It shows best at 5' off the ground and 10' away. I was expecting to put it about 7 feet off the ground and about 15' away. I have no idea what I'm doing but didn't think that you'd have to be that close for a 110" screen.
