We're in the process of a remodel, and one of the things I'm regretting already is not running a hdmi cable from the basement TV to new basement kitchenette. Is there a way to mirror the TV to a tablet wirelessly? There's about a 1000 ways to go the other direction, but I can't find anything on going the other way.

Thx in advance

Most tablets have more capabilities than a tv. What are you trying to play?

I watch whatever I want to watch on my IPad. You don’t have to mirror your TV to you tablet, you just use your tablet to watch whatever you are watching on your TV. For example, I am watching a football game on my TV, I can get that same game on my tablet through the ESPN app. Another option is to get a sling box and connect it to your TV. You can then watch your local programming anywhere you travel with your tablet/ipad.

What I'm trying to do is play the same video on a monitor in a second location as the main TV in the family room.
