How is your splitter set up that runs to the TV?

I mean are your coax cables split after it comes into the house? Too many splits maybe? Or a splitter after a splitter. Long shot but I can't think of anything else.

My MIL has one of those shitty cable boxes from Xfinity/Comcast. She has several channels with no sound. It's a Xfinity or Pace cable box problem.

I'll change the main and only splitter and see what the outcome is. I will call cable support for additional input. thanks.

sound encoding on that TV channel not properly decoding on that set. I'd try switching audio channels, sound modes etc if your TV allows it
