I wish apple would integrate with fitbit. Could use their software/hardware on the apple watch. I heard the fitness tracker on the Apple Watch is garbage. Which has kept me from buying it.

The fact that it costs anything at all is the issue, and with shipping its over $20, so $30 is actually not that far off.
One-day shipping makes it over $30, the picture below is two-day shipping.

Apple is apparently shipping the adapter with the phone and wireless charging is also a rumor. If those 2 things are true then your point is moot. Besides, most cables/adapters/etc are 3rd party anyway.

Also, looking at the available bluetooth headphones on Amazon, there aren't many ear bud choices outside of the earbuds that stab into your ears.

Hurr Durr - That product was Prime Eligible when I bought it earlier this year. My b for scrolling down to my orders to find it and not double checking.
But feel free to take a look at the over a dozen aux jack dongles listed at the link for <$20 (The cheapest of which are <$12) that are Prime Eligible.
