I've recently jumped on the HA train and am really surprised at the lack of a centralized place/forum/blog/website that caters to the HA crowd. Every other hobby I get into has a fair amount of information available that's pretty easy to sort thru, seems like HA is all over the place and not easy to find a centralized "hub" of info. Is it just that it's that new or that it's just slow to catch on?
I'm basing this on lots of other forums with dozens of post per topic per day, I can't seem to find a very active forum for home automation.

You are right, almost every other hobby i've looked up had a robust forum/community except for home automation. This is the most active i've found:

The Wink Users Group on Facebook is fairly active if you have that.
