Security camera (Lorex) distance (power?) issue question

I have a Lorex system at my house, and the cameras on my house seem to work pretty well.
But I also have two cameras that are on an exterior building that each has about a 100' cable run to each. They both seem to come and go as far as service. Am I right in thinking that it's probably a power issue, in that the Lorex is supplying the low power supply from 100' away?
One camera is a Lorex, so it has the standard ethernet connection, and the other is a non-Lorex that has an auxillary rca jack for an external power supply.
If it's a power issue, how do I address these two different situations?
Thanks!!!

Ohm's law is undefeated. V = IR.
Solution? Buy better cables.

I know that they sell outboard power supplies, and am wondering if I can use one of those to supply these long range cameras.

100' of ethernet cable is well within the "soft" limit of ~330'. Can't rule out low quality cable or anything else, but the cable length itself isn't the issue.

Yes. Most of these cameras can be powered by a 12v outboard power supply. Most take a standard 5.5mm x 2.1mm connector.
Before you explore that route, you should try to determine if it's a power issue or a signal issue.

My annke system has a setting for signal power via POE. Might check that in your NVR.
