Screenshot function quit working - iPhone 12

Hey loyal tech geniuses … so after it quit working I realize I use the screenshot function on my iPhone 12 a lot! Not sure if it’s related to software update or not, but that feature (press power button and volume up simultaneously) just quit working randomly.
Plenty of storage on device. No damage to speak of … current iOS is 14.5.1.
Of course I’ve scoured the internet but nothing seems to work.
Anyone having the same issues? Solutions ?

My iPhone is several generations behind yours, and I can't be much help, but have you rebooted the phone?

You can double to triple tap the back of the phone and it will screenshot. You need to turn it on in settings. Google, sorry, Safari it.

Well funny enough it was apparently a Gsuite admin setting (work phone) for security. They slipped that one on me for sure! SOLVED
ETA: I did find that deleting apps was being weird too and apparently that’s a setting that toggles “off” for some users after iOS update just FYI

worst thing to happen in the last 10 years is our workplaces taking over our personal cellphones.
i dont have a solution to this..just more grumbling that i would like to keep my personal stuff personal but my company ain't springing for a second phone & data plan and even if they did, what a pita it would be to run around with 2 phones all the time.
thanks to 2FA i'm literally dead in the water at work if i lose or break my PERSONAL phone and i had to change my PERSONAL PHONE security settings and other things for the 'privilege' of getting hit with teams messages and emails at all hours of the day and night.

Do a hard boot on your phone hit the up volume quick then down volume quick and then hold the Lock Screen button first you will see the slide to power off come up, keep holding it, and the phone will shut down, keep hold it still until the apple logo comes on… that should fix it… had that same problem with my iPhone 11 pro max and it fixed it
