Samsung TV App Store

Buy a brand new Samsung tv and the app store refuses to work. Ive updated to the latest software, hard reset the tv and still nothing works. Amazing im going to have to go spend more to get a firestick to actually watch something on this thing.

Is this a regular issue?

Dumb question, but do you use an ad blocker on your network like PiHole or Adguard Home?

If so, test by disabling that and then decide where you want to go from there if that’s the issue.



If not, I tend to not use smart TV interfaces and much prefer the external box apps (better at getting updates, “snappier” interfaces, remotes are usually better and pretty much universally control TVs now), but that’s awfully frustrating if your goal was a single device that did all that you wanted.
