Samsung TV and Unifi

Just bought a new Samsung tv. I have ubiquiti unifi network in house. It consists of netgear cable modem (router disabled), unifi security gateway, unifi switch, cloud key, unifi ap, and unifi outdoor mesh.
I can connect tv to wifi no problem, but I want to hook via ethernet cable. The TV says wired connection failed every time. I know the jack is fine as I can run a roku there without problem. Any suggestions how to fix?

Do you have a segmented network? Have you looked at the policy/network applied to the switch port for where the tv is connected? Disconnect WiFi then attempt connecting to LAN? Assuming TV is set to DHCP, are you limiting IP range in any way?

So, I'm not an IT guy...I don't have a clue what this means. I've had unifi in house since I built it and I did initial install. But I'm in way over my head to be honest.

Ok, no problem. So assume you have a single network setup and a single WiFi SSID you use to connect to. Is that accurate? Are you familiar with accessing the unifi software to look at configs and settings? Think you said you have a cloud key so assume controller software is running from that.

Yep, that's all correct.

I would recommend accessing the controller software, going into the switch (assume unifi) and checking the port setting for network of the port the tv is plugged into and see what network is assigned. Maybe even checking another port and swapping cables there. Make sure wired connection on tv is set to dhcp as well

Tv is plugged into port 4. The light on the port randomly flashes amber, but it's only once every few mins. The others are either steady amber or green depending on their speed. There's not much for options when I click on the individual port #4 settings

I can plug it into port #5 (poe port) and I get fast blinking amber light, but tv still can't connect.

From the pic of the switch (assume mobile app) you should click the gear after selecting Port4, then see what is listed under
"Port Profile" - should be all
"Operation" - should be switching
"Link Speed" - should be auto-negotiation
"Enable Port Isolation" - should be disabled
Once that is verified i would also plug in a laptop, or the roku that worked there, and see if other device can pull an IP.
From the pic of the tv, what options do you have when you select the "Network Settings" box on far left? Beginning to think that the NIC (wired port for tv) may be damaged/fried.

All those options under the port settings are defaulted like you said to configure. I'm going to plug laptop into ethernet jack there and confirm can get internet. Will update later.
I'm worried it may be tv itself too, which will be a pain to have to rebox and take it back...but will do if it's a possible fix.

It is possible your nic in the TV has issues

Embarrassing update....hooked up laptop directly to ethernet jack. The same one I swore roku was using...apparently roku must have been using wifi and I didn't know. Anyways used an ethernet tester and identified the #3 wire not connecting. Took off the ethernet jack and the #3 wire wasn't quite contacting, so pushed it down some and all is good. Tv connected right away.
Thanks for all the help.
