Currently have an iPhone 7+. Anyone make the switch or have this phone?
What do you think about the phone? Thanks

I don't think it's worth it over the s8+

I've owned s8+ and now note 8. Pretty small difference although I prefer note 8. Faster and battery life is better.

Exactly. It's a small difference but the cost of the phone ate 400+. S8+ can be had around 500 and the note is around 900. I doubt battery life is better since it has a smaller battery.

Just get the s8+. They're right.

So I got the Note 8 a couple months ago and just got the iPhone X last week. I am going back and forth on which one to keep. Note, I've been Android since the beginning. Not sure if you plan on upgrading to X or keeping 7 if you stay with iPhone?
Note 8 screen is a little bigger but on a much bigger phone. It's also brighter than the X. Both screens are really nice but it's crazy when put next to each other on the color. I did notice a bit of digitizing on the 8 with some fast action where the X was smooth.
I really like the size of the X and it is a smooth running phone. Some negatives I have are the same reason some people choose Android. I like having an sdcard, the dialer on Android is way more intuitive, open source, etc.
Both have Face ID but the X is amazing. Although the 8 works really well too and it has touch and iris ID as well. 8 has the stylus which I do use. So far both have phenomenal battery life. I'm really not sure which way to go but leaning towards the Note as the X isn't blowing me away and probably because I'm a bit used to Android.
Not sure if any of this helps you but I'm trying to write it out to help me too
ETA: I got my wife the S8+ and the size is very close. The Note is a better phone as it has the stylus and I believe it has some better specs but not sure.

I got the Note 8 because Verizon gave a 450 trade in deal for the Note 5. If you don't use the s pen stick with the S8.
I really like the Note 8 though (until Samsung does something to nuke the battery in a year)

I thought the same thing about the battery, but the Notes battery is better. Lasts quite a bit longer than my s8+ did. I'm sure it's because of software or more efficient processor. Regardless, it's better.
