RCA tv won’t turn on with remote or pushing power button

I have to unplug the tv a couple of times for a minute or so and then the tv will turn on with remote. Batteries in remote are new so that’s not the issue. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like some kind of software issue with the TV. Can you do a factory reset of the TV?
