Raspberry Pi 4 - micro sd boot failure

I installed ubuntu on a micro sd card, but then it stopped booting. Would only go to a black screen after receiving power. After research, determined my micro sd was corrupt since I could not format it without errors.
Installed ubuntu on a new sd card and it worked for a few days, but now the new card is having the same issue. Also cannot format the new card. Should I try a 3rd micro sd or just get a new pi at this point? I'm worried if I keep buying cards the same thing will happen.

What is your power supply ? The Pi 4 is more power hungry than the Raspberry Pi 3. A overloaded PS can eat SD cards.
Added:
vcgencmd get_throttled
This command works with the Pi OS, not sure about Ubuntu. It will tell you if your Pi has experienced an under voltage.
output interp
Code
111100000000000001010
|||| ||||_ under-voltage
|||| |||_ currently throttled
|||| ||_ arm frequency capped
|||| |_ soft temperature reached
||||_ under-voltage has occurred since last reboot
|||_ throttling has occurred since last reboot
||_ arm frequency capped has occurred since last reboot
|_ soft temperature reached since last reboot

#1 Pi's are in short supply, might be hard to find one at a decent price
#2 Your Pi is probably fine
Are you using quality "name brand" sd cards? Do you shut down the Pi via the OS or do you abruptly pull power to it?

Thanks for the replies
this is the power supply - LINK /
This is the sd card - both were the same LINK
For shutdown I have pulled power from it before, but did not do that between the time of it working and when it stopped. I'm using it as a plex / file server that's always on, but couldn't connect to it one day and that's when I started troubleshooting.
I will try to run the power commands.

Where are the files located that you are sharing? From a locally connect drive via USB drive? That takes a significant amount of power if pulling through the USB port (up to .5A)

And the USB ports are limited to 1.2a total for all 4 if he has other stuff plugged into them.
I have not got into them yet but I am going to boot mine off cheap SSDs for more stability and speed. Kingston A400 because they are thinner than the SP A55's I tried. They also use less power than the SPs but both are not too hungry. I have a new uctronics pi rack that has a ssd sled, screen, soft shutdown power button that makes it a all in one package. Putting power to the sled and it powers the rest.

UPDATE - Ended up buying a new micro sd card as I couldn't find any other solutions. I've been using it for almost 2 weeks since with no issues.
This is the one I'm using now (recommended by Tom's Hardware for Raspberry Pi 4)

Thanks for all the troubleshooting suggestions
