WAFB-9 is a VHF station, and many of the smaller indoor antennas work best in UHF. Make sure your antenna is good for VHF, and if not, get one that is.

I'm using one of the flat VHF/UHF compatible indoor antennas. Don't have the ability to set up a larger/outdoor antenna that would be more suited for VHF. No channel 9 for me.

You could try an amplifier.
