Question to Brave browser users

I got hit with several hundred dollars of Binance security (crypto-shares?) on my CC recently. My bank caught it during pending process and quickly got it resolved. In the boards best guess, is this just a coincidence or has anyone else experienced something similar?
As a side note, I started using Brave this year and have no issues prior to this incident. It struck me as odd when I noticed a Binance section on Brave home page today.
In the boards best guess, is this just a coincidence or has anyone else experienced something similar? I dont order from obscure sites so the only correlation that I found is with BB and the home page

I use brave. Never done crypto but my main page is like that with crypto info

Coincidence. I've used Brave for about 6 months now with zero problems.
