what are you talking about?

when i search for a new location after i've programmed in my destination it always says "would you like to program this as a stop along the way or a new destination?"

this is in waze.

y'all are doing it wrong.

Drove some 7000 miles this summer and wife had Waze going while I had Google maps. The combo saved us a lot of time and headache.

That's cute. ;-)

Being able to self report myself running radar has its advantages. Sometimes it is just down right fun.

Yeah his total is insane. He said he doesn't even edit the map either.

I don't think Ive ever done a map edit. Just countless hours on the road between hunting/fishing camps and my commute from BR to Geismar every day. A couple years ago I got a speeding ticket and after I drove off I opened the app and saw that the cop was actually marked on the map.

First time I used Waze.

I'm about 30 miles from home and all of a sudden Waze tells me to get off and head on some crazy arse route.

I mocked the program. Laughed at how stupid the routing was.

THEN CAME TO A HALT for 90 minutes.

I didn't know Waze rerouted around accidents.

2. Wife says, "Let's stop at X (usually Buccees)". I add a new destination to the trip, and Waze creates a sub-trip within the larger trip.

3. We stop at Buccees. Waze automatically "completes" the sub-trip and has the main trip back on screen.
Waze should just automatically go ahead and automatically calculate in a 30 -40 minute pit stop at Buccees. frick, stopping there! Every time I do the wife goes on a shopping trip and puts us behind schedule.

I wish there was a setting to turn off the vehicle on shoulder... Who cares if there is 1990 Oldsmobile on the side of the interstate.

Also, I wish you could set levels of navigation, if I'm pretty familiar with a route but still want it to talk in case of a route change, a simple turn 1/2 mile ahead. Not the whole 5 miles, 2 miles, 1/2 miles, 500', turn now would be nice.
